BY-LAWS of the YATES AMATEUR RADIO CLUB (YARC)
1. SECRETARY..
It shall be the duty of the secretary to keep the
constitution and by-laws of the club and to have same
with him at every meeting. The secretary shall cause
all amendments, changes and additions to be noted
thereon and shall permit the same to be consulted by
members upon request.
2. MEMBERSHIP..
FULL MEMBERSHIP is open to all licensed amateurs. Full
membership includes all club privileges as well as the
right to vote and hold office and to vote on all club
matters.
3. MEETINGS..
Meetings shall be held once a month at such time and
place as the President orders. Special meetings may be
called by the President upon written request of any five
members. Notices of such meetings shall be sent to
members and shall contain information on the business to
be transacted. Such notices shall be sent so that in
ordinary postal delivery they arrive not less than 48
hours before the meeting time.
4. DUES.....
A regular yearly assessment of $10.00 per Full member,
$5.00 per associate member is hereby assessed in
accordance with the provisions of Article V of the
Constitution for the purpose of providing funds for
current expenses. The dues for family membership are as
follows: the first member of each family must pay the
full assessed dues. Each additional family member
residing at the same address must pay 50% of full
assessed dues for the class of membership. Dues not paid
by the end of the first fiscal quarter may be cause for
termination of membership

The above By-laws and attached Constitution were adopted by vote at a
meeting held May 6th, 1980 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Penn Yan,
Yates County, New York.
